Most of us have experienced pain in regards to our North American slider & casement windows. Replacing them with the same window might not be in your best interest.
Lets start with looking at why these windows are so popular in Europe. They originated in Germany, and soon after they started replacing all the different window types. They were seen as a successful replacement, eliminating many problems regular casement and slider windows had, including energy inefficiency, degrading performance over time and an overall lack of functionality.

European Windows are more sophisticated than other window systems. This is displayed in the locking point system ( the system our windows use to close and seal). The moving pins inside of the window frame, lock into place when the handle is turned to close. Squeezing the window frame and the window sash together, ensuring that their seals are actually airtight.

The same locking point system allows our windows to tilt and open inwards. Firstly, this allows for great air circulation, while protecting the inside of the house from outside elements. Secondly, it allows for very easy and convenient window cleaning, for both the inside and outside of the window. No more need for any ladders!

Top this all off with quality that wont degrade over time. Delivering the same performance for decades to come, European Windows really will be the last window replacement you will need.
